OFFICIAL NOTICE: General Connectional Board 2024
Pursuant to ¶1000.6, §2, of The Book of Discipline, Revised 2022, the 2024 General Connectional Board, previously scheduled for Dallas, Texas, during the week of the Unity Summit, will meet Monday and Tuesday, September 2-3, 2024, beginning at 10:00 A.M. Central Daylight Time at the same site as the Unity Summit – Sheraton Dallas Hotel, 400 Olive Street, Dallas, Texas 75201. General Connectional Board members are requested to reserve the dates of September 2nd-3rd for the General Connectional Board meeting, and to expect a call for the Standing Committees and other committee meetings from the respective Chairs of each Standing Committee or the Senior Bishop for other committees. While we anticipate a full day (morning, afternoon, evening) schedule for the first day, we anticipate a morning to early afternoon (about 3:00 – 4:00 adjournment) for the morning and afternoon of the second day, but we will adjourn after all business is completed. |
